Hello Alden High School!
We need you to be our eyes and ears. If you know of a story that we should add to our newscast, let us see it. "A Reports" is an initiative that allows people from around AHS to contribute pictures and video of breaking news stories from our school.
We will accept high school related newsstories from our students. If you would like to try your hand at Citizen Journalism, send us your completed story that includes an video introduction, news video footage of story, and audio (either voiceover narration or interview).
You can contact us at WACSNetwork@gmail.com to let us know you have a story, or simply give your tape or computer file to Ms. Weisbeck, Ms. Giambra, or Matt Masci.
If we use your video file on the air you will be credited with the story with your picture, named a WACS 19 "A Reporter" and receive a WACS 19 Beverage Thermos.:)

This is cool i actually get to be apart of the News Network!! But is this gonna be like every other great idea and only gonna last for only a week or two and then not gonna be continued on ???? Like the Sportsplaybook that was a great idea with having the two anchors talk about what the teams gotta do. The anchors could have rehersed a little more but it was ok. But if your not gonna continue these ideas then why come up with them???
This is in response to the comment about Sports Playbook. Your comment is well taken, We plan on continuing with Sports Playbook as soon as the Winter Season begins. We really did not have much Fall Sports to cover after the last football game. Thank you so much for your feedback.. Keep it coming!
I think that the creativity and the people behind these productions is what makes it great. The people are funny and full of energy. I can tell that a lot of work goes into each and every one of these. All I can say is keep up the good work 'cause I'll be watching.
I like the sports section Is it possible to announce the alden/iroquois Chiefs Varsity and JV Hockey Schedules? A lot of people would like to come watch us play some games.
How about a little Sports Special for those High School Athletes that don't get the big recognition in from of the amazing Bulldog Crowds. There are some Ultra-Talented Athletes and most students and faculty do not know about their amazing displayes of athleticism.
